About Mike Kussmann

Mike has been helping buyers and sellers reach their goals in real estate since 2016.  At the core of his principles are his desire to put his client's needs above all else while representing them, meeting their financial objectives and making their experience as smooth as possible.  He fully understands the apprehensions that can overwhelm some sellers and buyers and will help alleviate those by providing knowledgeable service, highly responsive communication and providing his clients with the data and information necessary to help them make an informed decision.

On the listing side, his goal is to always try to exceed fair market value.  This is accomplished by doing whatever is necessary to make sure that his customer’s properties are ready to be shown in the best light possible.  He will prepare and conduct an aggressive marketing strategy making sure that your listing reaches all potential buyers.  Prior to listing your property, he will produce a thorough list of its details so that none of your home’s features go unnoticed.  Mike will defend the value of his client’s properties in the event of a low offer and never ask them to settle.

On the buying side of a transaction you will have an agent that will always do their best to squeeze sellers into submission in order to reach an outcome that puts you in a fair position.  Buyers will always be well informed while making their decisions by being provided with market data.  While helping buyers search for a property, they will experience patience while they become familiar with the market and find the perfect property that meets and hopefully exceeds their needs.

After obtaining a BA from Columbia College and prior to his career in Real Estate Mike owned and managed a remodeling and decorating business for 17 years.  This experience provided the hands-on knowledge he uses to assess property conditions, estimate potential improvement expenses, and visualize renovation possibilities.  As a business owner, the negotiating skills developed and attention to detail are a very important skillset he bring to by client’s transactions.
